Tender Description
Procurement Australia on behalf of Byron Shire Council invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from a licensed Electricity Retailer in the State of New South Wales or an acceptable party to purchase the generation from the proposed Byron Shire Council solar farm.
Respondents can submit the Returnable Schedule for one or many of the following categories:
Item 1 - Purchase output from Large Scale Solar Generation from the Council (Power Purchase Agreement)
Item 2 - Provide Retail Services to the Sewage Treatment Plant and purchase the trading services of the proposed BioEnergy plant
Item 3 - Provide Retail Services to the Large and Small sites of the Council except for the Sewage Treatment Plant
Following this Expression of Interest, subject to a satisfactory response, it is intended to construct a short-list of candidates from the EOI respondents that will be taken through to a Tender by Invitation(s) which will be a Closed Tender Event. However:
a) there is no obligation from this Expression of Interest to select any party for the Tender short-list
b) the Byron Shire Council may elect to issue many Tenders by Invitation with each Tender relating to each Item listed above
c) there is no obligation to appoint any party from any subsequent Tender by Invitation
