Tender Description
The vision is for increased access to peer support for people experiencing mental illness irrespective of their severity. This lived experience based program supporting recovery and wellbeing, will contribute to better health outcomes and to increased participation and social connectedness.
Collaborating with mental health professionals, peer workers will contribute to a greater embedding of person-first, recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approaches in mental health services. The peer workforce will supplement clinical services delivered by the SWSPHN commissioned You in Mind program, supporting a diversity of people with mild to moderate and severe mental illnesses.
