Tender Description
The Rural City of Wangaratta (RCoW) is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to undertake the remedial works for the Wilson Road Levee. The levee from CH0.00 to CH450.00 shown on design drawings has been noted as being high risk.
The Wilson Road Levee Upgrade works are required to address identified deficiencies associated with the height of the levee bank from Wilson Road (Ch0.00) to Thomas Street (CH450). In order to reduce the risks remedial works have been proposed to remove and reconstruct portions of the levee bank. The reconstructed portion of the levee bank will incorporate current industry practice in levee design, particularly with respect to construction materials used and detailing and treatment of bank stabilisation of levees. Contract Term
The Contract term shall be for a period of 16 weeks, with a 24 month defects period.
