Tender Description
The RIPERN (Rural and Isolated Practice Endorsed Registered Nurses) Scholarship Grants aims to support the expanded scope of practice of acute nursing staff in rural communities within the Murray PHN catchment.
The purpose of these grants is to provide the opportunity for rural health services and bush nursing centres to build on an existing or establish a RIPERN model of care by developing the skills of rural registered nurses to provide a wider range of primary care and emergency services, and in some cases, help fill a gap where access to general practitioners is limited.
For this grant round, the RIPERN Scholarship Grants comprise:
Course fees up to $10,520 (ex GST) per nurse; and,
Study related expenses up to 10% of the total course fee.
Please note: If both items are applied for, the total must not exceed $11,572.00 (ex GST) per nurse.
Only health services with gazettal approval can apply and nominate student recipients.
Please note that there are three steps to applying for this tender:
1. Register your interest. Download RIPERN 2020 Guidelines and application form and indicate intent to respond.
2. Complete the Pre-Qualification Form online to determine eligibility. Pre-qualification closes on Wednesday 8 July 2020 at 4.00pm. If you have not submitted this form, you will not be eligible to submit your tender.
3. Once you have passed pre-qualification, you can then progress to submit your application via the 'Response' tab Online Form and attach relevant documentation. Applications close Monday 13 July 2020 at 4.00pm.
