Tender Description
Development Victoria will be releasing an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the public seeking civil works contractors to deliver approximately 300 medium density residential lots across three stages in Sunshine North. As this procurement will be an open tender, it is not a mandatory requirement that the bidder be listed on the Construction Supplier Register. The shortlisted bidders from EOI will be invited to proceed to the Request for Proposal phase for each construction stage (3 stages in total).
The civil works contractors are required to:
- Be Registered Building Practitioners in Victoria;
- Have experience complying with Authority and service provider standards such as those of Brimbank City Council, City West Water and Powercor;
- Have the financial capacity to fund the construction until settlement; and
- Have experience complying with State Government policies and procedures.
Bidders should be aware that this project is subject to Local Jobs First Policy, Major Projects Skills Jobs Guarantee and Social Procurement Framework.
