Tender Description
Tenders are invited from appropriately credentialed consultancies or consortiums to monitor the extent and condition of seagrass vegetation across the Western Port Ramsar site (Victoria).
Deliverables for this project include:
- Map the spatial extent of littoral zone seagrass communities within the Western Port Ramsar site;
- Map the spatial extent of supralittoral to littoral zone mangrove and saltmarsh communities within the Western Port Ramsar site;
- Condition assessment measuring species composition and abundance (cover); invasive species; structure; and recruitment;
- Vulnerability, status and change evaluation against LAC and RCT, to inform adaptive management of seagrass, saltmarsh, and mangroves in Western Port; and
- Final report, mapping, spatial data, and other relevant outputs.
