This tender is an opportunity for Jemena to go to and explore the market to for a Pipeline Simulation Software solution that is the right fit for Jemena.
About Jemena
- Jemena is an Australian based energy utility, with assets under management that include Gas distribution, Gas transmission, Electricity distribution and Water Recycling.
- As part of its operating footprint, it has offices across NSW, Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania and Northern Territory.
Jemena is seeking to procure a contemporary application that accurately models the Queensland Gas Pipe (QGP) asset and provides timely and accurate pipeline capacity information to the business.
The selected vendor will be responsible to implement the new modelling tool including testing, verification and end user training.
The modelling tool must:
- Source data from SCADA and PypIT via data repository in near real-time / intervals.
- Provide Lookahead modelling for predictive modelling including survival time.
- Be configurable by end user for the purpose of reporting and new analysis scenarios.
- Be expandable to additional pipeline assets as the business requirements change

- Accurate Model /Output for decision making
- Quickly and reliably accepting nominations for improved business operations.
- Identify potential revenue opportunities (day ahead, week ahead, month ahead) and informing internal stakeholders.
- Enable reliable reporting and analysing of information for strategic reporting.
