Tender Description
The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) has a number of key data network components that are either end of life or approaching end of life. This includes Core, Distribution and Server switches. Additionally RCH is wanting to migrate from its current traditional network architecture to a spine and leaf architecture.
RCH is seeking proposals from suitably experienced Suppliers that have delivered similar projects previously, to deliver:
Design a fit for purpose network that meets the requirements of RCH, using spine and leaf architecture;
Supply, install and commission the required network equipment, including, but not limited to, network, distribution and server switches, and fabric extenders; and
Develop and implement a suitable migration plan detailing the proposed architecture, migration timeline, establishment of parallel networks and the proposed IP address scheme; and
Decommissioning of end of life and/ or existing / replaced equipment, for both RCH and RWH.
