Tender Description
The Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM) is seeking a group of Fellows and subject matter experts for the development of the Bariatric Rehabilitation Position Statement.
Positions are open for all AFRM members to join the Working Party and contribute to the Position Statement.
With support from the Policy & Advocacy Unit, the Working Party will:
develop a position paper on bariatric rehabilitation based on up to date evidence from experts and peer-reviewed literature
develop recommendations and define appropriate practice for rehabilitation medicine physicians who specialise in bariatric rehabilitation in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand
define the role of rehabilitation in bariatric surgery
The statement will take approximately 12 months to complete.
