Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Applications Development and Support section supports a wide range of software applications utilising different technologies. The specific Oracle services currently supported and delivered by the section include various Database versions, RAC and SOA.
You will contribute to the sustainment of existing Oracle technologies and assist in activities which aim to optimise the environment.
As an Oracle DBA, the occupant of this position is expected to:
- Administer, monitor and maintain multiple environments (primarily Test, UAT and Production) across the Oracle platform
- Analyse, consolidate and tune databases for optimal efficiency
- Install and test upgrades, patches and new system releases
- Maintain all data export/import processes
- Write relevant documentation including data standards, procedures and definitions
- Undertake other relevant duties, as guided by the team lead or section manager
