Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
Comcare requires a Service Provider to find/create meta data for all claims data in its claims management system (Pracsys) and to map the flow of claims data through Pracsys and other systems.
The Service Provider will need to:
• Discover/create metadata for all claims data items/data sets.
• Produce detailed metadata relating to the business data contained in Pracsys, such as the characteristics of the data, including its content, quality and format; and propose agreed standard definitions of data elements, their meanings, workflow triggers and allowable values, which will position Comcare to make critical decisions relating to data ownership, data relationships, lineage and usage.
• Provide findings in a format that can be accessed by the business and set the platform for use of a data dictionary.
The Service Provider will document the following in the mapping of the claims data flow:
• Input and output end points.
• Provenance and Identity/Access and Management.
• Usage analytics.
• Validation and transformation of data.
• Ontologies, taxonomies and vocabularies/code lists.
• Business rules.
