Tender Description
Hume City Council is seeking a suitable contractor to provide services in relation to the production and display of public notices required as part of the planning permit process. The signage is to be displayed in accordance with the public advertising provisions within the Planning and Environment Act 1987. Council is committed to improving customer service, increasing staff efficiencies and reducing processing times for planning permit applications and the outsourcing of services relating to the production and display of public notices will assist in streamlining planning processes.
The successful contractor shall produce, install, monitor and remove public notices in accordance with the requirements specified by Council officers. The contractor is also required to provide confirmation to Council that the public notices have been displayed in accordance with the public notification requirements of the Planning and Environment Act 1987.
Council is looking to appoint a contractor for an initial period of 3 years with extension options subject to Council approval.
