Tender Details
Tender Description
As the Senior Internal Fraud Investigator, you will support the Scheme Integrity Branch in assisting the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA or the Agency) and partners in delivering a high performing, high integrity, trusted National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS or the Scheme).
This position makes a critical contribution to safeguarding public confidence in the NDIS. You will be a valued member of a highly responsive and contemporary Scheme Integrity Branch, conducting internal and external fraud investigations. The Branch supports the Agency and its partners in preventing, detecting and responding to threats in delivering the NDIS.
This role requires the ability to contribute and lead in different investigation types, depending on Branch pressures. You will undertake investigations of potential fraud, unauthorised access, misconduct and other criminal offences committed against the Agency/Scheme. In doing so, you will use initiative and discretion in the interpretation of policy and the application of practices and procedures. Decision-making is substantially dependent on sound judgement, skills and knowledge.
Senior Internal Investigators work with a high level of autonomy and ensure the work of the team is of high standards. They will also at times be required to assist with project work.
Senior Internal Investigators are expected to display positivity and team focus, playing a key role in the support and development of less experienced staff. They manage their own work in the context of competing priorities, including contributing to business planning, changes in workplace practices and business improvement strategies. They are required to liaise with stakeholders and represent the branch with credibility and professionalism.
