Tender Description
Bayside Council invites suitably qualified construction companies to submit a tender for the construction of accessibility improvements to the Botany Town Hall building.
Works include the following:
- Construction of a new lift pit and shaft in the existing stairwell. This includes some minor demolition and excavation work as well remediation of the stairwell (wall linings, balustrade, ceiling finish). The lift has been procured by Bayside Council from Liftronic.
- Construction of a new internal accessible ramp, including the relocation of an existing door and existing fire hose reel.
- Upgrading the existing female amenities so as to comply with accessibility requirements, as per documentation.
- Construction of external ramps, stairs and landscaping as documented.
- Pre and post construction dilapidation reports for the building must be completed. The reports are to be undertaken by an independent consultant to be approved by Council.
