Quotation sought from suitably qualified Head Contractors for the following:
Main Scope Elements
Site Preparation & Demolition
Demolition of existing shade structures, water pipelines, concrete picnic tables, and toilet facilities
Removal and stockpiling of existing infrastructure for potential reuse
Tree protection zones (TPZ) implementation throughout construction
- Careful removal and storage of existing signage and equipment for reinstallation
New Infrastructure Development
- Visitor Facilities: Construction of new day use shelters (S01 & S02) with associated picnic settings
- Access Improvements: Steel boardwalks, access steps, and upgraded pathways conforming to AS1428.1:2021 accessibility standards
- Parking & Circulation: New compacted rubble car parks with designated accessible parking spaces
- Utilities: Installation of water storage tanks (2 x 11KL), wastewater management systems, and freshwater draw systems
Pavement & Surface Works
- Multiple pavement types including compacted rubble (trafficable and pedestrian), concrete pavements with exposed aggregate finishes
- Specialized helicopter landing pad surfacing
- Integration of existing landscape features with new surface treatments
Landscape & Environmental Works
- Revegetation programs using native species in consultation with Traditional Custodians
- Tree protection and retention strategies
- Make-good works for disturbed areas
- Installation of bollards, wayfinding signage, and landscape furniture
