Tender Description
Melbourne zoo is seeking to engage a company to remove and replace media from and repair a number of pressure filters. We are also seeking a complete replacement of two pressure filter vessels that are part of the backwash recovery systems.
The Wild Seas precinct at Melbourne Zoo opened in 2009 and comprises of three main exhibits; aquarium exhibits, Penguin and Seals exhibits. All exhibits contain seawater. The Life Support Systems (LSS) for these exhibits are consist of pressure sand filters, foam fractionation, ozone generation and medium pressure UV.
