Senior JavaScript Developers

⁠⁠⁠** NOTE: Seller is required to complete and submit the attached Home Affairs Seller Response Form to address the requirements.

The services will include but not be limited to:

•  designing and developing complex applications and web based solutions using contemporary technologies including JavaScript, technologies that meet business needs, design specifications, industry standards, agreed service levels, departmental policies, procedures and corporate objectives such as enterprise architecture artefacts;
•  developing, maintaining and performing unit testing of system components;
•  performing quality assurance checks of design, code and technical dependencies across multiple development components and streams;
•  adopting, contributing and promoting the use of contemporary ICT practices such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (Cl/CD) as well as DevOps;
•  resolving production system issues by working collaboratively with a wider ICT team (departmental and external. ICT providers);
•  providing technical advice and support to business analysts, solution architects, testers and other various stakeholders;
•  building and managing relationships with internal and external clients, stakeholders and service providers; and
•  complying with departmental methodologies (e.g. project, service, release and change management) to maintain, support and review/upgrade existing capabilities

Specified Personnel will be expected to transfer skills and knowledge to departmental staff and ensure appropriate documentation is stored in accordance with the Department’s recordkeeping policy and practices.

Specified Personnel will be expected to:

•  Produce and provide input into a range of documentation that will be specific to business related outcomes; and
•  Maintain accurate documentation in relation to business and technical requirements.

Documentation, to be delivered within the delivery times to be agreed with Managers, may include and not be limited to:

•  Project Plans;
•  Risk Management Plans;
•  Acceptance Test Plans;
•  Status updates and development effort estimates for changes; and
•  Produce new and update existing technical documentation
