Scope of Works
A feasibility design has been completed for the ventilation and ductwork distribution system for the LOT1 operator tunnel.
For the next phase of works the scope of services is for the detailed design, fabrication, installation and commissioning of two centrifugal fans with filter intake and square ductwork distribution system to distribute pressurised air into the tunnel every 15m equally distributed throughout the LOT 1 operator tunnel.
Detailed Design
Including but not limited to:
- Confirm current location of fans for suitability (relatively close to railway) and determine air intake requirements;
- Confirm fan sizing and electrical requirements (electrical capacity may be deciding factor);
- Confirm duct sizing and entrance into the operator tunnel; and
- Deliverables:
o Datasheet for two fans;
o All required drawings (layouts, general arrangements and discipline specific); and
o Calculation report for fan and ductwork sizing.
Implementation
Including but not limited to:
- Supply and install suitable walkway / maintenance access to centrifugal fans pending final selection of fan location;
- Supply, install and commission new fan arrangement (pending final option);
- Supply, install and commission new ductwork distribution system;
- Disposal of all redundant equipment and material as part of the project (i.e. ducting, fans, etc.); and
- Deliverables:
o Final audit inspection report to determine improvement of air flow and pressure distribution within the operator tunnel ; and
o Maintenance procedure detailing critical spares, inspection frequency etc.
