Tender Description
Scope of Work
- Design, manufacture and supply 13 complete conveyor drive assemblies suitable for operation in iron ore processing plants in the Western Australian Pilbara region.
- Accommodate regular company inspections of the equipment assembly and testing.
- Make all necessary arrangements for the delivery of all items from the fabrication plant to Site.
- Complete all necessary pre-commissioning activities at the manufacturing premises.
- Compliance with, or demonstrate capability to comply with, Rio Tinto documentation requirements, technical and standard specifications. (specific documentation will be provided at tender stage
Supply scope is inclusive of all items within the following general battery limits:
- flange face of low speed coupling mounted on gearbox output shaft;
- internal bore of pulley half of drive low speed coupling;
- underside of torque arm lower clevis for shaft mounted drives;
- Underside of drive frame mounting pads for base mounted drives;
- power supply terminals on drive motors;
- mountings for off-board brake power packs;
- terminals of condition monitoring junction boxes; and
- terminals on brake power pack junction boxes.
