Tender Description
Two representatives are needed on the Advanced Training Committee (ATC) in Cardiology.
There are 2x positions open for Cardiology Fellows:
- 1x Western Australian Representative
- 1x New South Wales Representative
Responsibilities for the role include:
- advise on cardiology training matters
- monitor, review and recommend changes to training program requirements and curricula in consultation with relevant stakeholders
- accredit Advanced Training sites and programs in cardiology
- attend Committee meetings
Applicants must demonstrate significant experience in supervising Advanced Trainees in Cardiology in Australia.
The Committee meets at the Cardiology Annual Scientific Meeting and holds an additional 3 face-to-face meetings in Sydney and up to 2 teleconferences per year.
Members are appointed to the Committee for a term of 2 years with the option to renew for a further 2 terms.
