Tender Description
The Church Street streetscape upgrade (between New Street and St Andrews Street) is part of implementation of the 2008 Streetscape Management Plan. ‘New Street’ end of the Church street is one of the gateway to the MAC and play an important part in the presentation of the Centre. The upgrade works broadly include reconstruction of footpaths, bluestone kerb & channel replacement, new drainage works and installation of street furniture.
The Church/St Andrews Street roundabout upgrade aims to improve pedestrian priority at this roundabout by establishing an environment more conducive to walking. The upgrade broadly include placement of new zebra crossings, upgrade of existing pram crossings and all associated civil and traffic works.
