Tender Description
Knox City Council (Council) are seeking suitable tenderers for the streetscape upgrade works in Upper Ferntree Gully.
The work to be performed under the contract are as following:
- Tracing and marking of existing services
- Site establishment
- Demolition of existing infrastructure and assets, as documented on the plan and listed in the schedule
- Liaise with Telstra for the removal of existing asbestos pits & installation of new plastic pits
- Removal of one nominated street tree ‘Robinia pseudoacacia’
- Earthworks to achieve appropriate grading and drainage
- Supply and Installation of concrete and asphalt pavement with feature glazed brick banding (glazed brick pavers to be supplied by Council)
- Supply and Installation of Corten garden bed edging
- Supply and installation of Chelmstone Hazard tactiles
- Supply and installation of new garden beds including subbase preparation (& cultivation) imported quality topsoil, water crystals and mulch
- Supply & installation of all plants (140mm pots) & tree (100 litre) as per planting schedule
- Supply and installation of custom furniture, including off shelf drinking fountain & tree grate
- Installation of recovered signs from demolition
- 52 weeks maintenance and establishment period
