Tender Description
Bayside Council invites suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to submit a tender for the demolition of 10 x residential properties within Bayside Council's LGA.
Bayside Council plans to announce the successful Contractor mid-February 2020, (Council Meeting February 12, 2020).
Works include but not limited to the following:
Secure Temporary Fencing is required as a minimum around all work zones and any storage compounds for each site.
Trees itemised in arborists report are to be retained and protected during works.
All Services to the existing building are to be scanned, identified and be terminated in accordance with the appropriate Codes. Tenderers are recommended to undertake DBYD (for all structures) to understand the extent and locations of existing services to ensure adequate allowances are made to address the compliant disconnections. Power has not been disconnected to any of the residential properties.
Remove any hazardous material as per HAZMAT reports provided for each dwelling.
Demolition and removal of the existing residential buildings and associated elements such as car ports, sheds, driveways, highlighted boundary fencing, clothes lines, concrete paths etc.
Demolition and removal of tennis court and associated fencing at 6 Rawson Ave, Bexley
All footings and foundations from demolished structures are to be excavated and removed from site.
On completion, all disturbed ground from the demolitions and construction works and movements to be smoothed over. New turf to be laid (50mm underlay and Kikuyu Grass) will be done in house by Council's operations team.
A site inspection will be held on-site Tuesday November 19, 2019, at 10.00am
Meeting point is on site at the corner of Verdun St and Rawson St, Bexley.
The RFT Closing date/time is Tuesday December 10th at 10.00 am
