Upgrade of Boondah Reserve Amenities at Warriewood

Northern Beaches Council invites tenders for the carrying out and completion of major works for the refurbishment of the Boondah Reserve Sports Amenities building at Warriewood.

About

Stretching from Palm Beach to Manly, the Northern Beaches boasts more than half of all the beaches in Sydney and a population of more than 266,000. The Council is committed to maintaining a high level of customer service to the local community. Northern Beaches Council is working closely with the community to build strategies that enhance quality of life, promote sustainable development and protect the environment.

Scope

The project involves the refurbishment of a 150 sqm (approximately) sports amenities building hosting toilet and shower facilities, including ambulant and accessible requirements, changeroom, canteen and storage facilities. The works include but are not limited to:

• Demolition of toilet finishes and fixtures
• Demolition of select existing roof structure and sheeting
• Demolition of existing storage shed, steel enclosure, and select masonry walls
• New public toilet fit out
• New roof structure, sheeting and roof plumbing to selections of the building
• New storage sheds with roller door
• New paint finish to masonry walls
• New balustrade, handrails and tactiles to the existing ramp
• Conversion of existing storeroom to changeroom
• Conversion of existing eastern undercover space to create a new main storeroom
• Refurbishment of canteen with relocated servery window
• Relocation of the main switchboard
• Supply and installation of new hot water pumps
• Supply and installation of a new MSB
