Tender Description
The ICT services needs of HSS include a range of development, support and architecture requirements grouped under three core service categories, namely:
- Project Services;
- Solution Architecture Services; and
- Application and Development Support Services.
To meet the support requirements associated with these service categories HSS proposes to establish a panel of up to four (4) suppliers to provide a range of support services including Development, Architecture and Project Management services. The objectives of this panel arrangement are to provide HSS with a cost effective procurement arrangement for its ICT Services requirements to:
- Ensure that HSS’s development and support requirements continue to be met in a timely and cost effective manner;
- Reduce risks associated with the current procurement model, such as loss of knowledge and skill continuity;
- Ensure that service procurement is in line with endorsed project initiatives, budget allocation and ICT governance processes; and
- Ensure procurement and contract management efforts for the required services are optimised.
