Scope of Work:
Dampier Salt Ltd requires a supplier to perform maintenance on a 3.5km long levee at its Dampier Operations site. The levee needs to be returned to its original design lines. The service provider must mobilise personnel and plant to Dampier to conduct the maintenance works.
As part of the works, the contractor will be required to:
• Excavate and condition fill material from site borrow pit;
• Grade and remove contaminated material from levee;
• Raise levee with fill material (company provided) and cap with wearing course (contractor to source) to return levee crest to required levels (as per survey);
• Equipment will be working in a salt environment and service provider is to absorb costs of additional maintenance from exposure to salt;
• Replace rock at levee washout locations - rock to be sourced by contractor;
• Manage the protection of the site, temporary works, signage and construction plant in all weather conditions;
• Use survey information, including measured levels, complete redline mark-ups of drawings to as-built status and provide to the company;
• Clean up and demobilise following the completion of the services.
