Panel of Suppliers - Fire Mitigation

⁠⁠⁠SCOPE OF WORK

The scope of work encompasses various time-critical tasks essential for fire safety and environmental protection, primarily focusing on fire access tracks (FAT) and mitigation activities. These tasks include:

• Mulching: Shredding or chipping of vegetation to create a protective layer on the ground.

• Slashing: Cutting overgrown vegetation along fire access tracks and designated areas.

• Reach Mowing: Maintaining vegetation in hard-to-reach areas along fire access tracks.

• Chemical Works: Application of chemicals for weed control and vegetation management, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

• Re-sheeting: Reshaping and leveling fire access tracks to ensure optimal accessibility for emergency vehicles.

• Earthworks: Conducting earthworks for the construction, repair, or enhancement of fire access tracks, including grading, drainage, and erosion control

Each task will have specific parameters, such as width, minimum vegetation height, and 'works height,' to comply with, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in execution. Additionally, suppliers are required to adhere to fortnightly progress updates and monthly invoicing for completed works within the specified timeframe. Post works photos will be required from a designated location for each treatment, as confirmation of works to satisfy the grant allocation process
