This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer you will work closely with the ACMA’s staff, external stakeholders and business analyst to architect and design business solutions. You will also lead the definition of ACMA’s application architecture and provide designs and estimates to help determine the feasibility of proposed business solutions.
You will work within a complex and fast-paced environment, performing project work as a part of a multidisciplinary team. Working with a project manager, business representatives, business analyst, developers, testers and other technical specialists you will ensure business outcomes are achieved through correct implementation of designs.
As a contract Solution Architect, the occupant of this position is expected to:
- advise the CTO on the strategic direction of application and technology investments and recommend a development path for the enterprise architecture that maximises return on investment.
- ensure that the expectations of clients are met using current or future ICT capability that balance functional, service quality and systems management requirements.
- develop solutions for business problems by translating business requirements to systems/technical requirements and design.
- develop, test and implement solutions and work with developers to ensure effective solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed timeframes.
- define technical strategies, policies, standards and practices and ensure they are applied correctly.
- support the team and work collaboratively to contribute to achieving the team’s business outcomes.
