Tender Description
The Rural City of Wangaratta (Council) is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to for the scour protection reinstatement works at the below 3 mentioned sites:
- Existing Bridge over Hodgsons Creek, on Rusholme Road;
- Existing Bridge over Hodgsons Creek, on Boralma-Tarrawingee Road; and
- Existing Culvert on Diffey Road, over Horseshoe Creek.
In December 2018 the banks around the above mentioned bridges and culvert failed due to flooding associated with a major storm event and resulted in significant damage to the scour protection.
The Work comprises of rock amouring (bank stabilisation) associated with existing bridges and culverts. It also includes but is not limited to survey, excavation, removal, construction and associated works as shown in the specification and design drawings.
Contract Term
The Contract term shall be for a period of 8 weeks and will be a fixed priced/lump sum contract.
