Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Scope of Works is as follows:

Wannon Water is proposing to increase the storage capacity at the Hamilton Water Treatment Plant (WTP). To achieve this, a new 2 ML Clear Water Storage (CWS) tank is to be built, including all associated pipework, valves and additional components to allow it to operate in isolation and/or in series with the existing CWS tank.

The Contractor is responsible for setting out the works and checking the work for discrepancies and ambiguities prior to undertaking the works. The Contractor shall refer any discrepancies or ambiguities in the documents or on the site to the Principal's Representative for resolution prior to commencing work.

The Works include design (where applicable), manufacture, supply, delivery, testing, commissioning and documentation of all the work shown on the Drawings and described in the Specification. All works shall be in accordance with the drawings, this specification and in compliance with the planning permit. The Works include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Investigation and design l Demolition Works
  • Earthworks & Landscaping
  • Design and Construction of new CWS Tank and Inlet/Outlet Pipework
  • Construction/Installation of new valves, valve pit modifications and temporary
  • Electrical, Instrumentation and Control System Works
  • Testing and Commissioning
  • Administration
