Ku-ring-gai Council (Council) Council is seeking tender submissions from suitably qualified and experienced individuals or organisations who are interested in obtaining a lease to Old Headmasters Cottage at 175 Rosedale Road St Ives.
The historic cottage has been operated as a cafe/gallery/restaurant since 1995, however, Council is prepared to consider other commercial uses that are consistent with the plan of management, current zoning and the heritage significance of the premises.
Subject to a resolution of Council and the selection of a successful tenderer, the proposed lease to be granted is for a period of five (5) years, with a five (5) year option and will be subject to the terms and conditions contained in this RFT and the accompanying draft lease .
A description of the properties that are the subject of this tender and current rent yields are set out in Annexure A in the tender document.
Council reserves the right to accept or reject tender submissions, at its absolute discretion, having regard to the specifications provided, its stated aims and in accordance with the Tender document.
Commercial Property Site Visit - Mandatory
Tenderers who are interested in submitting a tender for the lease of Old Headmasters Cottage should note there is a mandatory requirement is to inspect the premises in the company with Council officers on either 17 October 2019 at 4.00pm or 21 October 2019 at 11.00am.
Please email or call the Contact Officer to confirm your preferred time/date to inspect the premises. Tenderers should note that failure to attend one of the two scheduled compulsory inspection days will resulted in a tender for the commercial component as being non-conforming.
