Council is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and capable contractors for the construction of two outdoor multi-use concrete courts, seating, paths, car drop off area, associated landscaping and the design and construction of a large roof structure over the courts.
Nets Stadium Banyule is a joint use building between Macleod College and Banyule City Council. It has four multi use indoor courts and car parking to cater for the building. This project is the addition of two outdoor courts with a large open roof structure to be situated at the back of the stadium between the Macleod College school buildings and the stadium itself. The works will generally be for the construction of the two additional courts and the design and construction of the roofing structure, and associated works. The works are generally incorporated in the attached drawings and specification, which includes but is not limited to:
- Earthworks
- Two outdoor concrete courts with acrylic overlay
- Concrete paths
- Car drop off loop and hardstand
- Open roof structure with 200 lux lighting
- Seating
- Sports furniture (including basketball backboards and netball hoops)
- Fencing
The contractor is to familiarise themselves with the site, access, extent, complexity and timing of works required and shall take into account any additional or incidental works not specifically listed.
