Tender Description
The Scope of Work is to provide Ground Protection services for the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix, to be held at Albert Park in Melbourne.
The Works under the Contract shall also include, but not be limited to:
- preliminaries, including provision of own Site facilities;
- coordination, loading, transportation, delivery to site and inventory checking of the Contractor managed ground protection and general on-site inspection;
- laying of ground protection on ground for required areas as close to Race Week as possible to preserve grass;
- protection of ground underneath the ground protection with Geotextile or similar material if requested or deemed appropriate by Contractor;
- quality assurance spot checks daily;
- uplifting and cleaning of laid ground protection, as requested by Superintendent; and
- packing non laid ground protection and removing stillages, if required.
