Tender Description
The Carl Schultz Reserve located in the central business district of Moyhu is a reserve primarily used for parking by the patrons of the neighbouring Moyhu Bowls Club. The reserve is a key part of the rural place making project produced by the Rural City of Wangaratta which aims to enhance the liveability and uncover the potential of our rural communities. It aims to link communities, streamline improvements and create a long term vision for the district.
Moyhu is the gateway township to the King Valley District featuring higher than average traffic passing along Wangaratta-Whitfield road during peak tourist periods. Carl Schultz Reserve is well situated to be reimagined as Moyhu’s town square due in part to its close proximity to nearby businesses. As part of the Destination Moyhu long term strategy the sealing and improvement of Carl Schultz Reserve is proposed along with the installation of new lighting.
