Mount Alexander Shire Council (MASC) is seeking the services of a contractor to undertake the fencing work for the Lions Park Embankment Fence project.
The Lions Park is owned by VicTrack and is leased in part by MASC which is in turn is sub-leased to the local Lions Club. This project is to address the emerging safety risk of the embankment that runs along the west side of Kennedy Street, Castlemaine. The fence will be located on Council land however it will be close to Vic Track land and a permit will be obtained.
The project involves the construction of two runs of fencing:
1. South fence run – to the south of the pedestrian path
2. North fence run – to the north of the pedestrian path.
