Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
In close collaboration with key proponents within the Information and Technology Branch, the Department has the requirement for a suitably qualified and experienced service provider to:
- Develop the Department’s Cloud Policy and standards;
- Produce in-principle cloud architectures in line with the Enterprise Architecture;
- Cloud Foundation Requirements for Security, Data Centres and Networks;
- Establish best practices for cloud across the organisation;
- Develop the Department’s Cloud Decision Framework;
- Provide input to upgrade existing related policies to incorporate cloud – e.g. Backup, Archive, Information Management; and
- Refine or develop Standard Operating Procedures for Cloud Governance and implementation.
This procurement activity forms part of critical Year One implementation tasking of Department’s Technology and Information Strategy 2019-2023, as well as the Department’s Asset Refresh and Cloud Program as part of the larger Departmental Cloud Transition Strategy.
