This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
DIIS is seeking to undertake Discovery work to develop a shared understanding of the current state of the National Measurement Institute’s (NMI) ICT; including understanding the staff experience in their physical and technical landscape. The Discovery will identify opportunities for improvement and provide actionable insights for progressing a sustainable 2-3 year roadmap of work between NMI and DIIS, to upgrade the ICT technical infrastructure and improve the user experience at NMI. A particular focus for the work will be enabling pervasive digital workflows across the organisation.
The Discovery Phase will run in two rounds. The first will focus on laboratory information management system (LIMS) needs of the Australian Sports Drug Testing Laboratory (ASDTL) and expand to other NMI laboratories. The second shall extend to the broader business at NMI.
Pending the recommendation of the Discovery, an extension option will be considered to possibly include the following: initiate and support the ideation, options analysis, requirements gathering, and implementation of LIMS solutions for ASDTL and other laboratories in accordance with specific third party requirements. This will be an iterative process that is to ensure delivery of ASDTL’s mission critical services whilst maintaining a holistic, enterprise approach to technical enhancement and management.
