Tender Description
The project involves various mechanical air conditioning plant and equipment upgrade works across three Agricultural Victoria research facilities at Horsham, Hamilton and Mildura. The scope includes either like for like replacement or new air-conditioning. The mechanical equipment serves either glasshouses or office spaces.
- At Horsham the scope of work involves predominately like for like replacement of packaged Air Condition units, Evaporative cooling units and Duct mounted gas heaters.
- At Hamilton the scope of work the replacement and installation of packaged air conditioning units, split ducted air conditioning units, evaporative cooling units, dust extraction system and heating hot water boilers.
- At Mildura the scope of works will include the replacement of large air cooled chiller at roof level with two air cooled chiller units at ground level and the installation of a new boiler unit.
All works will include mechanical services, electrical services, hydraulic services and structural and civil services where required.
Suppliers may be able to quote for all services or by region
Location of services to be provided: Horsham - Grampians Region; Hamilton - Barwon South West Region; Mildura – Loddon Mallee Region
Procurement Model: Construct Only
Minimum Requirements: Tenderers will be required to hold an Australian Refrigeration Licence (ARC)
Appilciable Policies: Local Jobs First Policy; Victorian Government Social Procurement Framework; Supplier Code of Conduct Letter (mandatory)
Estimated value of the required services: $1,800,000 exc GST
Estimated Total Project Completion: end May 2020
