The university is seeking an experienced ICT business analyst (BA) with technical expertise to conduct a methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation to determine the requirements and recommended options for the development of a technical platform to deliver credentialed professional short-courses.

The BA will deliver a report which will examine, evaluate, document and provide recommendations of the technical and integration requirements to implement a technical platform for credentialed short-courses, including but not limited to:

• Functional components needed to administer professional short-courses, including participant enrolment, metadata, data retention, data security and privacy, payment gateways, content delivery, skills assessment, and credentialing (e.g., badging);
• Technical system analysis and process mapping outlining integration with existing University IT and learning management systems., including identification of potential issues or opportunities;
• Gathering, assessing and documenting requirements and developing acceptance criteria and test scenarios against defined functional requirements;
• Recommendations on the feasibility and viability and implementation options for platform development and integration with existing IT systems and processes;
• Requirements on each functional component and the integrated system to deliver the required user experience; and
• Additional functionality as identified in the business analysis phase.
