Derwent Valley Council provides and maintains an extensive network of civil infrastructure over an area of 4,111km2. Situated west of Hobart, the primary service centre of the Municipality is New Norfolk where the planned contract works are situated.
Derwent Valley Council has a commitment to providing and managing a high quality network of assets and enhancing local industries to support our refurbishment needs and has identified remediation and improvement works to continue to improve and enhance its civil infrastructure.
Derwent Valley Council continues its road rehabilitation program with support through the Commonwealth "Roads to Recovery" funding.
Derwent Valley Council intends to rehabilitate Britten Street through this program. Additionally Council will provide an asphalt overlay at the intersection of Blair and Dean Streets.
A site briefing will be provided commencing 10.00am Tuesday 27 August 2019, at the Works Depot Glebe Road New Norfolk. Following a short briefing and question session, all sites will be visited.
