Tender Description
At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the Scope of Works includes the provision of all resources, support facilities, supervision, labour, transportation, materials, construction plant and equipment, communications and other items necessary for the bulk earthworks and ancillary items for the tailings storage facility (TSF) and return water pond (RWP) on the Iron Bridge Magnetite Project, including:
* earth bunds;
* precast decant chute and outlet pipe;
* grout curtain;
* spillway;
* bitumous geomembrane liner and insitu concrete anchor;
* seepage monitoring trench and soakwell; and
* insitu reinforced concrete slabs.
The total earthworks volumes are given below:
* TSF: Stage 1 Earth Bund – 730,000 m3;
Stage 1 Liner – 30,500 m2.
* RWP: Stage 1 Earth Bund – 95,000 m3;
Stage 1 Liner – 10,000 m2.
The onsite works are anticipated to commence in Q1 of 2019.
All Works must comply with Australian Standards. The Iron Bridge Magnetite Project, including this package 662NSC2001 is subject to internal approvals. The procurement process or scope, may change at the IB Operations’ election, including to accommodate project budget and time requirements.
