The project involves general irrigation maintenance repair to irrigation systems installed at Council facilities/sportsgrounds/passive open space areas including the annual testing of backflow prevention devices to maintain compliance with Councils water authorities.
Irrigation audits are to be conducted prior to the spring season for the commencement of the watering season and all works will be conducted over various sites with each site having specific requirements.
No works can proceed until in receipt of a field instruction detailing the scope of works.
Irrigation repair must be undertaken by either a licensed plumber or a nationally accredited irrigation professional (minimum level 2 competency), and be competent to perform all tasks relating to irrigation system and maintenance repair.
