Tender Description
Project consist of refurbishments to existing building, which more than 40 years old and alteration to internal walls & rooms and an extension to create a new entrance to building and new internal/external toilets.
* Extension to building as per attached preliminary drawings
* New entrance canopy roof
* Refurbishment of existing building with changes to internal wall layout
* New ceilings to rooms as indicated
* New operable roof windows to hall no1
* New doorways and sealing of existing door ways to suit plan
* Existing roof system to be retained and allow for alterations to suit new extension
* New retractable stage-supporting system to be included
* New operable wall as specified with steel supporting structure as documented, including making good of existing flooring.
* External modifications to curbs, pavements, surface drains
* Allow to cut/grade existing toilet slab
* Allow for rectification of defects in existing walls.
Construction materials and methods proposed are:
* Block / Brick Veneer walls/ timber frames walls;
* Timber / metal cladding on timber frame walls;
* Metal roofing;
* Concrete slab on ground;
* Large span folding doors and aluminium framed glazed windows;
* It is proposed to maximize the use of engineered timber products and framing from sustainably managed and harvested forest and also plantation products. All structural laminated timber roof framing is also to be termite treated.
* Structural concrete shall include fly ash or be manufactured from sustainable products.
* Allow for Roller doors & Sliders as shown on plan
* Allow for a ramp
