Interested parties wishing to post questions may only do so through the University’s Tender Portal (Tender Search) Question Forum. Questions posed by this method will be brought to the attention of the Project Sponsor and their response distributed to all interested parties via the Tender Portal.

Unauthorised communication with University Staff or Representatives may lead to disqualification of interested party’s tender.

Scope of Tender
A determination has been reached by Federation University that Building 726 (Pooh Cnr) is surplus to the requirements of the campus operations and is not suitable for occupation into the future. Resulting from this, it has been decided to demolish the building.

A suitable contractor is being sought to perform the demolition and remedial work in accordance with the attached drawings, inclusive of work specifications.

The Tender submission by the contractor shall include a ‘Demolition procedure’. Refer to question 8.1 for further details. Failure to provide this document may deem the Tender submission to be invalid.

A mandatory site inspection will be scheduled for Wednesday 29 May /2019 @ 10:00 am. Meet at the facilities and Services Office 3W Building Room 245 (window). You will then be escorted to the site.

The successful supplier would be required to work closely with the nominated Federation University Representative to achieve the desired outcomes in the negotiated timeframe and with value for money.

In order to be considered as a conforming bid, bidders must provide all the documents listed as mandatory.
