Tender Description
The Tender is to prepare a short list of Council's preferred contractors that will be engaged in performing minor works up to a value of $20,000 (inc GST). Contractors that should apply include, but are not limited to, those who provide the following services:-
1 Air conditioning services
2 Arborist/tree removal/stump grinding
3 Audio Visual Equipment Supply
4 Brick/block layers
5 Carpenters
6 Catering
7 Civil Construction/Engineering
8 Cleaners/Yard maintenance
9 Communications, data and IT services
10 Concrete
11 Demolition and Asbestos
12 Digital Marketing and Graphic Design
13 Electricians (including industrial)
14 Event hire/event services
15 Environmental Services
16 Fencing/Guardrail
17 Fire Management
18 Floor Covering and carpet Installers
19 Glaziers
20 Gardening / Landscaping / Revegetation
21 Grant and Funding Services
22 Irrigation
23 Lift Maintenance
24 Locksmiths
25 Marketing Services
26 Metal fabricators (including stainless steel)
27 Painters
28 Plasterers
29 Plumbers/gas fitters
30 Printing/Signage
31 Professional Consulting (Engineering/Legal/Geotechnical/Contaminated Land/Etc)
32 Security services
33 Registered Surveyors
34 Utility Locators
35 Water and Sewer Asset Monitoring, maintenance and installation

The Tender needs to outline all types of general maintenance services that contractors can provide, as per the above list. Services not specified on this list should be classified as 'Other', and the nature of these services clearly outlined in the contractor's submission. Services able to be provided can, where applicable, be for several of the areas listed above, or one of the areas listed and/or other areas not listed. Hourly rates, including overtime rates, should be provided for trades person, apprentices and labourers and will not be subject to Rise and Fall adjustments. The Preferred Contractor List will be for a period of 12 months.
