Tender Description
Strathfield Council invites tenders from eligible contractors for the upgrade of the interior of the Strathfield Main Library at 65 - 67 Rochester Street, Homebush.
Strathfield Council has reviewed the current library and information services and is looking to:
Redevelop the interior infrastructure to maximise space and uses for all sections of the community in relation to library, information and cultural services.
Provide gallery space with a digital wall, common room, meeting rooms, study rooms and spaces for both quiet and group study, versatile space for multipurpose use to enhance social engagement, age appropriate spaces, multimedia space and tech lab, collection spaces and lounge areas and reducing noise levels between floors.
Council would like this upgrade to enhance services to our local community.
A non-mandatory briefing session will be held at Strathfield Library commencing at 10am on 26 March 2019
