Automatic Door Service

SERVICE REQUIRED

Northern Beaches Council invites tenderers for the provision of Automatic Door Services Contractor are being sought to provide automatic door system services on a planned program basis as per Australian Standards and for reactive maintenance services from 1st August 2026.

Tender responses sought will include statements of experience, servicing schedules, resourcing, work methods, capability, insurance cover, licensing as required, and appropriate referees. Tenderers are requested to select and complete the following in Part C9 Tables of rates for lump sum programmed maintenance, routine call outs both in hours and out of hours rates.

The Contract term will be 24 months with an extension of 2 one year period at discretion of Council. The expected start date is on signed contract.

The scope of the works includes planned preventative maintenance on all of Councils auto doors and nonexclusive reactive works on these assets.

Council is also requesting the response times for reactive works

The Contractor must meet the following minimum response requirements:

• Priority
• Description
• Required Response
• Critical Security risk to building doors unsecured within 2 hours
• Urgent Operational failure within 2 hours
• Routine Non critical issue within 1 business days

• Schedule C3, Financial Information, Pass/ Fail
• Schedule C4 and C11, Performance and Business information, Weighted 15%
• Schedule C5 and C12, Personnel and Sub Contractors, Weighted 15%
• Schedule C6, Work Health and Safety, Pass/ Fail
• Schedule C7, Insurance, Pass/ Fail
• Schedule C8, Proposed Methodology, Weighted 30%
• Schedule C10, Sustainability, Weighted
• Schedule C9, Schedule of Fees, and Rates, Weighted 40%
