Tender Description
To improve the delivery of reliable Sewer Service for the Yarra Valley Water service area, preventing interruptions to customer sewer supply and spills to the environment YVW has in place a Scheduled Maintenance Program to inspect and asses its Sewerage System.
A new program has been developed specifically for Sewer Air Valves to avoid any failures from these air valves in sewer rising mains and to reduce the risk of Sewerage failure.
This Tender cover inspection and accurate condition assessment of specific sewer air valves as prioritised and nominated based on risk assessment and to be replaced as-required to establish a reliable Sewer Service.
The Air Valve Inspection and Replacement Program will involve the following:
* The assessment of air valves along all sewer rising mains (prioritised based on risk) to create a baseline.
* Replacement of air valves (if required).
* Upload of condition and asset data in YVW Maximo and GIS.
This Tender provides a prioritised list of air valves to be scheduled for inspection for the Sewer Pump Stations (SPS), starting with air valves assigned with [Very High] risk ratings. There are approximately 105 air valves to be inspected and replaced as required over 3 months.
Tenderers are required to complete the Supplier Code of Practice questionnaire. Please note, our Supplier Code of Practice was updated in has recently been updated so tenderers will need to complete the questionnaire even if they have submitted a questionnaire previously.
