RFT - Churchill Island Bridge Remediation Works

⁠⁠⁠In June 2016, Phillip Island Nature Parks engaged a consultant to undertake a Level 3 inspection of the Churchill Island Bridge. The inspection identified a number of areas of concern that the Phillip Island Nature Parks would need to address within 24 months.

Following the inspection, both further investigative works as well as a 12-month monitoring program was initiated to identify any movements throughout the bridge and to determine the current condition of the concrete to in order to identify the cause of the observed defects.

Following the further investigative works, it was identified that the concrete cracking observed throughout the structure should be appropriately remediated to reinstate the durability of the Churchill Island Bridge.

The consultant will project manage and provide technical oversight for the repair works phase of this project. The consultant will also act as the Phillip Island Nature Parks engineering consultant on all technical issues and methodology.

The Phillip Island Nature Parks is seeking the services of a suitably qualified contractor to work with the Phillip Island Nature Parks for the remediation if the Churchill Island Bridge repairs project.
