The Department of Human Services is approaching the halfway mark of the seven year Welfare Payment Infrastructure Transformation (WPIT) programme. The Department is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to work within WPIT to coordinate activities with team members, and project teams responsible for mobilising new projects and executing active projects.
You'll be primarily working within the WPIT Programme. The candidate will need to work with a diverse group of stakeholders and subject matter experts from both business and ICT. The candidate will also need to work closely with a range of stakeholders from other projects and will be required to work with external vendors.
The Programme Manger will work under the direction of the General Manager – WPIT ICT from to plan, direct, coordinate, and lead programmes of work to ensure goals, objectives of the programme are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. The Programme Manager will work collaboratively with all business Programme Managers across the WPIT Programme and wider Department.
